Consent to Electronic Signatures and Records
Effective October 31, 2026. Version id: esign-2026-10-31.
Doing Work lets a business ("the shop") send you quotes, change orders, documents, invoices and job records, and lets you sign them online. Before you sign, please read this. A link to it appears next to the consent box. It applies each time you check the box that says you agree to sign and get the document electronically.
What you agree to
By checking that box and typing your name, you agree that:
- you are signing this document electronically, and your electronic signature has the same effect as signing it on paper;
- the shop and Doing Work LLC may give you this document, and the signed copy, electronically instead of on paper.
This consent covers only the document you are signing on that page. A new document will ask you again.
How signing works
You sign on a page Doing Work hosts, after you sign in with your own email. You type your full name and check the consent box. Doing Work records what you signed, the exact text, your name, your sign-in and the time. No one at the shop, and no software acting for the shop, can sign as you. Each signature is recorded with the email of the person who signed in. For a change order, only the person whose email the shop entered for you can sign. A quote, and some other documents, can be signed by anyone who is signed in and opens the link, so keep your link private.
Paper copies and not signing
You don't have to sign electronically. If you would rather sign on paper, or want a paper copy of anything you signed, ask the shop before or after you sign. Paper copies are free. Neither the shop nor Doing Work charges you for a paper copy or for choosing paper.
Withdrawing consent
You can withdraw this consent at any time by telling the shop, or by emailing contact@doingwork.work and we will tell the shop. Withdrawing doesn't undo a document you already signed. It means the shop must use paper for future documents that need your signature, unless you agree again.
What you need
A device with a current web browser, an internet connection, and access to the email account you sign in with. To keep a copy, you need to be able to save or print a web page or a PDF. If these needs change in a way that could stop you from opening or keeping your records, the shop or Doing Work will tell you, and you can withdraw consent at no cost.
Keeping your copy
After you sign, the page shows the signed document. Save or print it now. You can view it again from your link while the shop's account is open, and in the shop's customer page if the shop gave you one. If you need a copy later, ask the shop, or email contact@doingwork.work and we will help.
Updating your email
If your email changes, tell the shop so it can send future documents to the right address.
Contact
The shop that sent you the document is your first contact. You can also reach Doing Work LLC at contact@doingwork.work, (208) 274-3273, or 212 W Ironwood Dr Ste D PMB 466, Coeur d'Alene, ID 83814.
