What an agent can check for itself, read on November 1, 2026. Follow the links, since other companies change their plans and prices.
| Agent access | Pricing model | Fit by shop size | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Doing Work | Every operation over REST, MCP and A2A with OAuth 2.1: jobs, schedule, quotes, invoices, payments, phone and sync. See the API reference. | No plans or monthly fee. A fee on payments taken through it, in bands, plus Stripe processing. | Any size. Workers are unlimited. |
| Jobber | An official connector for Claude and ChatGPT reads clients, requests, quotes, jobs and invoices, and can create requests, clients, properties and quotes. It can't create jobs or invoices or change the schedule (Jobber help). A GraphQL API for apps (developer.getjobber.com). | Monthly plans by tier and user count, plus payment processing (getjobber.com/pricing). | Solo shops to mid-size teams. |
| Housecall Pro | A public API on the MAX plan only (Housecall Pro help). No official MCP server found. | Monthly plans by tier and user count, plus payment processing (housecallpro.com/pricing). | Solo shops to mid-size teams. |
| ServiceTitan | APIs through its partner program. | No public prices. Quoted per technician, with setup fees and multi-year contracts reported by third parties (servicetitan.com/pricing). | Larger shops. Third-party reviews say it isn't built for 3 technicians or fewer. |
Where Doing Work is not a fit yet
- No Google Calendar sync. Schedules live in Doing Work.
- No route planning or route optimization.
- No customer financing offers. A job paid through a financing company can be recorded as paid outside Doing Work.
- No inventory or parts tracking.
- No built-in QuickBooks connection. The shop's agent runs the sync on a schedule. See Sync with QuickBooks.
- Calls and texts need the shop's own Twilio account, and an AI that answers calls is the shop's own ElevenLabs or Grok agent. Both bill the shop directly.
Status and track record
Doing Work is new. It launched in 2026 and has no public reviews yet.
Try it on a few real jobs first
A shop can run a few real jobs through Doing Work before switching over. There's no monthly fee, so the trial costs only the fee on payments taken through Doing Work. The shop can keep its current software until it's sure.
